Perched in the lush landscape of Vouliagmeni, Casa Oliva is a private villa designed as a refined sanctuary, where architecture and nature exist in perfect harmony. The guiding principle behind its design was to create a residence that fully integrates into its surroundings while offering a retreat of elevated aesthetic and experiential quality.
At the heart of the architectural concept is a striking black marble waterfall pool—more than a water feature, it acts as a central axis that organizes the spatial layout and reflects the natural environment around it. The bold horizontality of the structure, combined with deep overhangs and full-height glazing, creates a continuous dialogue between built and unbuilt space.
The material palette is rooted in nature, with travertine marble used throughout in varying tones to emphasize the monolithic character of the structure. This weighty elegance is softened and balanced by the transparency of expansive openings, which frame the landscape and allow light to animate the surfaces throughout the day.
The interior unfolds as a carefully choreographed journey. The simplicity of the design conceals a deeply luxurious spatial organization, where main and auxiliary areas interconnect to enhance the user’s daily experience. Highlights include a master suite with a private pool, a fully equipped spa and gym, and a playroom with views into a dramatically lit garage—a feature that elevates the car collection into a curated visual statement.
